Ragnar turned 49 and we had a quiet celebration with him. After sending off Cavin 2 days earlier, we were both kind of in a sullen mood. We will have to do a big celebration next year when he hits the big 50!
We had a birthday donut and then both had to go to work! Such is the life of adulthood.
We went to Saltgrass for dinner and came home, had cake, and opened presents.
Then we all watched the Bourne Supremacy together. It was a nice quiet evening. Ragnar is a good guy and we are so grateful to be able to celebrate another year of having him in our lives! He is always supporting the kids at their activities, finding a way to tell us a new joke, giving us his big bear hugs, singing in the car, working hard to support us, and occasionally snoozing on the couch :) We love him and are so grateful to call him dad/husband.
