Ella turned 18 on May 5th and entered a new phase of life. She is officially an adult. Time has flown by, you blink and it's gone.
She had so many AP tests and rehearsals the week of her birthday so she didn't really want to celebrate much. Her actual birthday was on a Sunday, so we went to dinner and celebrated with grandparents the day before. She loves cookie cake!
She opened presents and got a new hard cello case to take to college with her.
For her activity that night, she wanted to paint books of Mormons, so that is what we did! A fun family activity.
Ella will be leaving to SUU in the fall to study music. She is an independent girl who is strong minded and knows what she wants. She is intelligent and driven. If she chooses to be..definitely not when it comes to cleaning her room! :) She has excelled in choir and orchestra this year and has spent a lot of time developing her talents there. She still wears a lot of black but is stylish and her style is very versatile. She still likes goldfish, chocolate, and loves to make graham crackers with frosting. She loves all things music and she just finally was released as the youth choir director in our ward after a couple years. She is very helpful and involved in church and does a great job serving. She finished her last week of seminary ever this week and is a seminary graduate. She is a great kid and we look forward to all the things she will accomplish.
