A Weekend in Vernal!

This weekend we went to visit my grandparents in Vernal, UT. Both my moms parents and my fathers parents live there and it was nice to visit. Ragnars job doesn't permit being able to really leave to go on a 4 hour drive, so I was grateful he took a couple days and we got to see my family. Ella loved Grandma Walls porch and kept rearranging the furniture. She was pretty grumpy the last day as you can tell from one of the pictures, but we enjoyed visiting them. We wish we lived closer! It was also my Grandma Haws' 71st birthday and we got to see that side of the family, but I forgot to bring the camera, so no pictures there. It was good to get away for a few days though! We hope someday Ragnar has a job where he doesn't have to work weekends.

Like Father Like Son!

Not much has been happening at the Hartzheim home! We are just enjoying the warmer weather! It's been raining this week though, so Ella has been enjoying the tunnel and Cavin has been snoozing! This picture of Cavin reminded me of Ragnar. He is just like his daddy, he loves food and has a little pot belly like papa! (Although Ragnars is slowly going away as he is on an exercise program again!...yeah!!!) Anyway,we are heading to Vernal this weekend to see our grandparents and we are excited to see them. A week after that Ragnars parents and mine will be here to share in Cavins blessing day. We are so excited.

Just Another Day!!

Cavin is now one month old and he is getting bigger and bigger! Ella is having fun trying on dads clothes from the folded laundry and I am enjoying the warm weather. As you can tell, not much is going on. We are totally excited for the American Idol final and are excited it is BBQ season! We have been going on lots of walks and eating lots of hamburgers :) Yum!!

Gotta Love Cereal!!!

Well, as some of you know, I LOVE cereal and unfortunately I have passed on my addiction to my daughter. They have been having $10/10 sales at Albertsons, and since I have so many coupons, I have gotten all these boxes for 5o cents. I think I bought 35 boxes. I only spent about $20, it was great. I love cereal and I can't wait to eat it! Yum!!

(While I was putting the cereal away, after much help from Ella she decided to take a nap in the hamper, she loves laundry hampers :) she's silly!)

Ella is TWO!!!

I can't believe our little girl is now officially entering her terrible two's!!! She had her fun cinco de Mayo birthday!! We started with bringing her home balloons and donuts for breakfast. Then we went and got lunch and played with her friends and went on a walk. Then, she had her first "friends" party and loved it. Her friends Tanner and Thomas came and played with her and she absolutely loved it!! She got lots of fun things, but her favorites were her princess tent, play tunnel, and backyardigans tricycle. She also got a dress from Aunt Chira and didn't want to take it off! She kept twirling and twirling!

We are grateful that she entered our family and we love her! I hope you had a fun birthday Ella!

Diaper Fun!

So, I'm pretty sure since we had Cavin we are changing about 15 diapers a day between he and Ella. I think we are keeping huggies in business. Needless to say, we are going to try and potty train Ella soon. I think she is almost ready. Anyway, we decided to invest in a changing table and I love it. We never had one with Ella and I always wanted one. I think it is a little more desirable with a boy. We are enjoying the new changing table in our nursery. Now we just need to decorate the walls and make it look like a little boys room. Any ideas??
