We're Moving!!!

The time has come and gone and our life in Smithfield, Utah is soon coming to an end. After much fasting and prayer we have decided to sell our home and move to Houston, Texas. We are nervous and yet excited for the new adventure in our lives. Ragnar is applying at many jobs and we are putting our faith and trust in Heavenly Father that he will provide the opportunities our family needs. We feel it is time for our family to truly move forward and progress and we feel like we can't keep waiting for a job to come our way but move to where the market is strong. We will move as soon as the house sells and are excited to have some time next to my family. Even if it is a short period of time, we feel like the time is finally right and we look forward to the new experiences that will come. We will really miss our friends and family and thank them for all of their love and support. If you know anyone looking for a great townhome, let us know! Independence Day!!

We had a nice independence day with a highlight visit from my sister Marisa and Ethan. On the third of July they do fireworks in Logan and we went to the USU hyper field to watch. We had a little bbq before with our friends the Stones and then we went over and played and watched the show! On the fourth of July of course Ragnar had to work and when he got home we went to the our next door neighbors parents and had another bbq and fireworks, it was a fun weekend. Ella still was happy in the car on the way home! She had fun running around, and Cavin got in the stroller and didn't make a sound until we made it home, some 4th of July huh! Anyway,we are grateful for our family and friends and for a wonderful country to celebrate!

Baby Chubb!!!

Well Cavin is now 2 and 1/2 months old and we had his 2 month check up today! Well he is 17.1 pounds!!!! Can you believe that! I cannot believe how much he weighs, Ella barely weighed 19 pounds at a year! The doctor didn't believe the weight the nurse did so she checked it again and sure enough it was about the same, minus a little pee in the diaper! Oh my he is a cute chubby baby! No wonder my arm is already breaking when I carry him in his carrier! I don't think he will be in it for a whole year, that's for sure! Anyway, he is such a good baby and really happy, so we will keep our little Rollie pollie!

Go Germany!!

We have been watching a lot of soccer recently because of the Euro2008 and we love it. We are so excited that Germany is in the final match! We just wanted to make a shout out to all those watching.... cheer for Germany!!!

Blessing Day Extravaganza!

We are excited to report about Cavins blessing. Everything went wonderfully and it was so nice to have the family there. Of course, I would have loved to have my brothers and all of Ragnar's sisters, but we were exited for the family who could come. It's a little hard to get everyone in one place! My parents and sisters came on Wednesday and we just hung out, watched movies, played games, you know relaxed. It was great. On Sunday we saw Ragnar's parents and sisters family. It was nice. My Aunt Becky's family came and so did Aunt Jana and some friends, it was great. The blessing circle was big and because Cavin is so chubby, I think it was necessary. All went well and we appreciated the support. Cavin did great!

Life as a little girl must be wonderful! Ella was having fun playing dress up and watching Cinderella. She loves purses and necklaces and tutus and everything else that is girly. We love our little girl!!

A Weekend in Vernal!

This weekend we went to visit my grandparents in Vernal, UT. Both my moms parents and my fathers parents live there and it was nice to visit. Ragnars job doesn't permit being able to really leave to go on a 4 hour drive, so I was grateful he took a couple days and we got to see my family. Ella loved Grandma Walls porch and kept rearranging the furniture. She was pretty grumpy the last day as you can tell from one of the pictures, but we enjoyed visiting them. We wish we lived closer! It was also my Grandma Haws' 71st birthday and we got to see that side of the family, but I forgot to bring the camera, so no pictures there. It was good to get away for a few days though! We hope someday Ragnar has a job where he doesn't have to work weekends.
