My favorite time of the year!! I absolutely LOVE getting our family pictures done every year! I love to see our growth and document another year in our life! I am so grateful each day for this family of 6 that I get to call my own! We all have our faults and strengths and weaknesses, but we love each other and love to be there for one another!

A New Ride!
Ragnar has patiently been waiting for almost a year to purchase a car for work. They asked him to get one when he was hired as they give him a stipend each month for the car and insurance. Due to many medical bills this year we had to wait a while for his car, but he was thrilled when we finally felt like it was time and we could make it work.
He custom ordered this Kia Telluride and is loving it after two weeks so far!Caberet and Region Choir Performance!
Ella has really thrived in the choir program this year. She is in Acapella and Madrigals and loves it! She recently had a Cabaret performance. She had a few songs she peformed as a Madrigals combined choir and as just women.
We love to come watch her at all these performances. She also tried out for Region Choir and made it through in the top 3! After region she made it through the next round to pre area auditions and that will happen at the end of November.
We got to watch her Region Choir performance that they do with everyone. She made the mixed choir which is the highest.
She is grateful to have fun choir friends to share these experiences with!
I love watching her develop her talents and can't wait to see what she does!
Ella is College Bound
Ella is quickly approaching her last semester as a high school senior and I am so proud of all her accomplishments. She performed at our stake cultural night and when she got home she opened a letter from SUU. She had been accepted electronically, so she assumed it was just the formal letter in the mail. She, however, was overjoyed to open it to see that she had been awarded a scholarship to SUU that would help substantially!! As you can see from the picture I took right after she opened it, she was overjoyed with emotion!
She immediately called her dad to tell him the news! She has felt strongly for about a year and a half that she is supposed to go to SUU for whatever reason. She has had several promptings and even though it's small and not what she intended, this was the last answer to her prayers. Since she felt pretty strongly about SUU she only applied to one other school, USU. She also received acceptance and a scholarship there, but as of right now plans to attend SUU.
Here is her senior photo! She looks so old! I am so sad she will be leaving us soon, but know she is going to do great things!
Halloween 2023
Halloween is one of those holiday's that I could be just fine skipping over. None of my children particularly care for it either. Channing is the only one who even somewhat gets into it, and mostly because her friends do. This year her friends wanted to dress up as different princesses. Obviously she looks very similar to Anna from Frozen, so that is who she was!
We have Elsa, Rapunzel, Bell, Jasmine, Anna, Tiona, and Cinderella. They look adorable!Scenes from their movie!
I love how even at almost 13 years old they still are happy to be princesses ;)Deacon went as Waldo again since he had it from last year. He trick or treated with his friends and had a good time.
Cavin came home late from football, threw on a pink cowboy hat from his sister and left for a Halloween party and trick or treating with friends. Ella was boring and chose to hand out candy and do homework! Another Halloween in the books!
