Moving Time!!!

We wanted to introduce everyone to our new place for the next year or so. We are moving to Eagle Springs in Humble, Texas. I am very excited to have a place of our own again, but have been very grateful to live with my parents for the time being. The kids will be really sad to leave Grandma and Grandpa, but I think it will make the visits more exciting! We hope that in the next year our home will sell, but for now, we think this condo will be a comfortable place to call home. We are excited to be close to my brother and his family and that my parents and sister will only be about 35-40 minutes away! Best of all....Ragnar's commute will drop from an hour and 15 minutes to 35 or 40 minutes. Everything depends on traffic of course! We will move in after we get back from Germany! It's going to be crazy between Germany, adjusting back and forth to time change across countries, moving, Ragnar's season starting in full force at work, Ragnar's birthday, and then having daylight savings right after we get in.We are excited for the adventure though!

Keep on keepin on!

These past few weeks have been filled with house searching, soul searching, and Texas capital searching! We have been trying to figure out where we are going to move next month and are looking at places to rent until our home is back on the market and sold. After looking around, nothing really felt like home, until we found some condos in Eagle Springs that I think we can make home for the next year. So, if we are able to rent the condo we would like, then that will likely be our home for the next year or so. We are excited to move and feel like an individual family again.
Also yesterday we drove down to go and see my best friend Stacey's new little girl Madilynn Grace. She is precious and I was glad we got to go and see her. Ella loves to play with Gabriella and for some reason LOVES talking about the "flower" day bed she gets to sleep on when she is there. It was fun to see them!
We will keep you posted on our official moving site when we return from Germany!

Mommy/Daughter Sleepover!

Don't you love her messy hair!

Last night Ella and I had our first mother daughter sleepover. She was so excited all day about it. We made brownies, we made princess crowns, played memory, jumped, played, made a fort, watched Cars, and I got the pleasure of listening to her chat all night (or it felt like it!). She always has so much to say and is so full of life. Here are a few pictures from our night! She is ALWAYS doing her "cheese" smile now, it's silly. She is such a fun girl and I look forward to watching her grow! She will be a handful though!

Big #5!!!

Today is officially our 5th wedding anniversary!! Time has flown by! It is weird to think that we met about 7 years ago! Two kids later.... much has changed over the years! Ragnar is someone I never would have pictured myself with. Yet, he is the one I love, and who I chose, and I am so grateful that I did. Neither of us are perfect or have ever proclaimed to be, and it is our strengths that help each other in our opposite weaknesses. I have learned so much about myself from him and he has truly helped me on the road to becoming the person I want to be. I am grateful for his love and his easy going spirit. Thank you Rags for 5 wonderful years, I look forward to many more!
(sorry no wedding picture...I only have my moms computer with pictures of me!)

A short weekend away!

This past weekend we were able to celebrate our 5th year anniversary, a week early! Ragnar wanted to see the Phantom of the Opera, so we decided to go on a short weekend away the weekend before. (Our actual anniversary is on August 7th, but the Phantom was no longer showing that weekend!) I picked Ragnar up from work at 4:00 and we checked into the hotel and then walked over to the Aquarium for dinner. I had never been there, but always wanted to go, so we did and it was nice. I'm a hamburger girl, so how much can you ruin that for dinner! Anyway, after dinner we went to the Hobby center for "The Phantom of the Opera". It was a great show and we enjoyed ourselves. Saturday we went to IKEA and the Galleria and then to the temple. We love to do sealings each year on our anniversary and this time we got a Spanish sealer. It was kinda fun! It was a nice weekend and I am so grateful for my mom watching the kids! Thanks mom and dad! Also thanks Rags for spending the weekend with me!

Cirque Du Soleil!

So last weekend Ragnar got tickets for my whole family to go and see Cirque Du Soleil, the Saltimbanco show! It was exciting and Ella loved it! I am amazed how strong people are and what they can do with their bodies! It was fun and I am glad that he has the connects with the Rockets that he does! Thanks hun!

Early morning jammie fun!

Last weekend our family enjoyed some time away in the great capital of Texas...good ole Austin! My best friends Stacey and Ben Childs live there and we wanted to come up and spend some time hanging out! We enjoyed just relaxing and being with them and looking at their fun new house. We also walked around the capital, went to the pool, and ate at Mighty Fine (which was delicious!). We were so glad we had a minute to spend with them and that they welcomed us in! Thanks for letting us come and play! Ella loved playing with Gabbi and she sure was sad when we left!
