Big #5!!!

Today is officially our 5th wedding anniversary!! Time has flown by! It is weird to think that we met about 7 years ago! Two kids later.... much has changed over the years! Ragnar is someone I never would have pictured myself with. Yet, he is the one I love, and who I chose, and I am so grateful that I did. Neither of us are perfect or have ever proclaimed to be, and it is our strengths that help each other in our opposite weaknesses. I have learned so much about myself from him and he has truly helped me on the road to becoming the person I want to be. I am grateful for his love and his easy going spirit. Thank you Rags for 5 wonderful years, I look forward to many more!
(sorry no wedding picture...I only have my moms computer with pictures of me!)

A short weekend away!

This past weekend we were able to celebrate our 5th year anniversary, a week early! Ragnar wanted to see the Phantom of the Opera, so we decided to go on a short weekend away the weekend before. (Our actual anniversary is on August 7th, but the Phantom was no longer showing that weekend!) I picked Ragnar up from work at 4:00 and we checked into the hotel and then walked over to the Aquarium for dinner. I had never been there, but always wanted to go, so we did and it was nice. I'm a hamburger girl, so how much can you ruin that for dinner! Anyway, after dinner we went to the Hobby center for "The Phantom of the Opera". It was a great show and we enjoyed ourselves. Saturday we went to IKEA and the Galleria and then to the temple. We love to do sealings each year on our anniversary and this time we got a Spanish sealer. It was kinda fun! It was a nice weekend and I am so grateful for my mom watching the kids! Thanks mom and dad! Also thanks Rags for spending the weekend with me!

Cirque Du Soleil!

So last weekend Ragnar got tickets for my whole family to go and see Cirque Du Soleil, the Saltimbanco show! It was exciting and Ella loved it! I am amazed how strong people are and what they can do with their bodies! It was fun and I am glad that he has the connects with the Rockets that he does! Thanks hun!

Early morning jammie fun!

Last weekend our family enjoyed some time away in the great capital of Texas...good ole Austin! My best friends Stacey and Ben Childs live there and we wanted to come up and spend some time hanging out! We enjoyed just relaxing and being with them and looking at their fun new house. We also walked around the capital, went to the pool, and ate at Mighty Fine (which was delicious!). We were so glad we had a minute to spend with them and that they welcomed us in! Thanks for letting us come and play! Ella loved playing with Gabbi and she sure was sad when we left!

Weekend Fun!

Ella and her cousins John and Madi being pirates as we
played our game! She loves playing with them!

Last weekend was a fun one! On Friday we went down to my dads office and had lunch with him for his birthday! Ella loves to see Grandpa's workplace and we enjoyed going to say hello. That night Ragnar and I went with a couple to Rugger's (sp?) and to see the play 42nd street at the Miller outdoor theatre! It was really fun, the hamburger was great and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the play. Yes, we were in the blistering heat, but we were under the pavilion and so the heat didn't bother me too much! On Saturday I went shopping with my mom and then we had a party for my brother and dad ! We went to the pool and then had hamburgers and played a wii game called "Rock Band" . I had a fun time trying to master the drums! We had a fun night and on Sunday I had to teach Relief Society, so that ended the fun, but it was a great weekend!

Happy Birthday Boys!

Today is my dad and brother Corey's birthday, they are exactly 25 years apart and get to celebrate the day together! I just wanted to take a minute to wish them a wonderful, happy day!

Happy Birthday dad, to a man who never stops. You are always making me laugh and sharing your silly jokes. You are so hardworking and always give your all in everything you do. Thanks for being my dad, I hope your day is great! Love, Lisa Lulu

Happy Birthday Corey! You are a very diligent, intelligent guy, and I am lucky to call you my brother! Thanks for your one of a kind sense of humor and for being the example that you have been to me. Love, Chubbs :)

Independence Day Weekend!

The Little Parade

Us in the very back...Ella isn't too fast on a bike!

Walking and into everything :)

Brownie mess

This weekend, as you know, was the 4th of July weekend! It was so nice to have Ragnar off for 3 days to celebrate with us. We went to the pool with Grandpa, then went to see the movie "UP" at the theatre and got hamburgers. Then on Saturday we had a neighborhood parade (which was pretty lame, but Ella had fun decorating her bike), then we went to a friends house and had dinner. We just enjoyed playing games, watching movies, and hanging out together. Ella had her first curler experience :) I always use curlers and she says all the time she wants her hair "bouncy" so I did her hair for church and she felt like such a big kid. We made brownies and most of all Cavin enjoyed his new found freedom.... walking. I will post a video soon. Hope you all were able to enjoy the freedom that we have as well!
