Weekend Fun!

Ella and her cousins John and Madi being pirates as we
played our game! She loves playing with them!

Last weekend was a fun one! On Friday we went down to my dads office and had lunch with him for his birthday! Ella loves to see Grandpa's workplace and we enjoyed going to say hello. That night Ragnar and I went with a couple to Rugger's (sp?) and to see the play 42nd street at the Miller outdoor theatre! It was really fun, the hamburger was great and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the play. Yes, we were in the blistering heat, but we were under the pavilion and so the heat didn't bother me too much! On Saturday I went shopping with my mom and then we had a party for my brother and dad ! We went to the pool and then had hamburgers and played a wii game called "Rock Band" . I had a fun time trying to master the drums! We had a fun night and on Sunday I had to teach Relief Society, so that ended the fun, but it was a great weekend!

Happy Birthday Boys!

Today is my dad and brother Corey's birthday, they are exactly 25 years apart and get to celebrate the day together! I just wanted to take a minute to wish them a wonderful, happy day!

Happy Birthday dad, to a man who never stops. You are always making me laugh and sharing your silly jokes. You are so hardworking and always give your all in everything you do. Thanks for being my dad, I hope your day is great! Love, Lisa Lulu

Happy Birthday Corey! You are a very diligent, intelligent guy, and I am lucky to call you my brother! Thanks for your one of a kind sense of humor and for being the example that you have been to me. Love, Chubbs :)

Independence Day Weekend!

The Little Parade

Us in the very back...Ella isn't too fast on a bike!

Walking and into everything :)

Brownie mess

This weekend, as you know, was the 4th of July weekend! It was so nice to have Ragnar off for 3 days to celebrate with us. We went to the pool with Grandpa, then went to see the movie "UP" at the theatre and got hamburgers. Then on Saturday we had a neighborhood parade (which was pretty lame, but Ella had fun decorating her bike), then we went to a friends house and had dinner. We just enjoyed playing games, watching movies, and hanging out together. Ella had her first curler experience :) I always use curlers and she says all the time she wants her hair "bouncy" so I did her hair for church and she felt like such a big kid. We made brownies and most of all Cavin enjoyed his new found freedom.... walking. I will post a video soon. Hope you all were able to enjoy the freedom that we have as well!

Cavin's First Haircut!

The Last of his curls :(

Hello my new little man!

Well, we did it....I couldn't bare the shag anymore, so I gave Cavin his first haircut! I loved his curls, but they were getting too long, especially when they were wet in the bath! He looks like a little boy now :( where did my baby go??!!!

Happy Father's Day!!

I just wanted to take a minute to wish my Father, Father-in-law, and of course Ragnar a Happy Father's Day! Thank you for the influence you are in my life, I hope it is a wonderful day!

My Dad....the one who loved me first, and has taught me the most. I am so grateful for your lessons of hard work. You are always there for me and know what to say. You are always giving your best!

Hellmut, my Father-in-Law. He has always been so welcoming and accepting of me. He is a good man who I enjoy spending time with and makes me laugh. Thank you for helping mold Ragnar into the man he is.

And of course....Ragnar. The man who is the Father of my children, who gave me the chance to become a mother. Thank you for your constant support and love of me. Mostly, thank you for knowing the importance of mother and fatherhood and encouraging me to stay home to teach our children!
I love you all, thank you for all you do for me in my life!

A "Rashful" Week

This week Ella woke up one morning with this horrible rash! She has had it for a few days, but the Dr. said it would run its course and she should be fine, she just looks bad (it's kinda hard to really see it from the pics!)! So because we look like we have a "diseased" child we have stayed mostly to ourselves. I had to work a full day on Friday and now I can officially appreciate the mothers who have to work. I am so grateful that I am able to stay home with my children! Anyway, tonight we had a pizza party and watched Madagascar 2! We had a fun time and Cavin is now officially going to be a sumo wrestler! He is now 14 months old and ate 3 pieces of pizza! Crazy huh! He loves to eat, so let's just hope that he loves to exercise too! (Oh and ignore the Belle bib, that's what you get for having a big sister!) We love those two munchkins and they make life exciting!
