New Years Day!

Hellmut and Ursula flew in on New Years Eve to celebrate with us and be here for Deacons priesthood ordination. 

We went to our friends the DiValls house to celebrate with friends, food, and fireworks. 

The boys were off playing and Cavin went over to his other friend Jacksons to celebrate.

We hung out with the Hartzheim's and they came to a couple of Channing's soccer games.

On January 1, 2026 Deacon was ordained as Deacon and received the Aaronic Priesthood. He was very blessed to have both grandpas in the circle with him as well as his father and brother. Bishop Brown was there and there was a sweet spirit there. 

We got to go down to the Giving Machine and purchase items for those in need. We were happy to give to those less fortunate.

It was a beautiful night and Ursula and the kids were excited about the balloon artist that was there. 

We had a very special day where Deacon was able to go to the Houston, TX temple for the first time with both sets of grandparents. 

The temple is all about families and it was beautiful to have our whole family there (besides Ella who is serving her mission). 

Cavin baptized his brother and Ragnar confirmed him.

We missed having Ella with us, but know she was doing her work in the Philippines. It was a sweet thought to think about us doing work on the other side of the veil while she was doing work on this side. It was a beautiful few days and I am so glad that Ragnar's parents were able to fly in from Germany to be there to ordain his youngest grandson.
